What's the best flexi cap fund for a 10-year goal with moderate risk?

Answer refreshed with data updated · research, not investment advice

A 10-year horizon is long enough for equity volatility to work in your favour, and flexi cap is a sensible core for it: the manager shifts between large, mid and small caps as valuations change, so you're not locked into one segment's cycle.

For 'moderate risk', favour funds that pair a high Smart Score with below-average volatility for the category (check standard deviation and beta on each fund's page) rather than simply the highest 3-year return — chart-toppers in flexi cap often got there with a small-cap tilt you may not want.

The current leaders by overall Smart Score — which already balances returns against risk and cost — are below. This is research, not investment advice.
